passion and tradition

Passion, tradition and attention to quality are the values that have always characterized Cerester.
The Volterrani family has always been in contact with wine. And it is through study, experience and practice within his father’s cellar that David Volterrani, founder of Cerester, has acquired, and gradually deepened, his skills in the winemaking field. Over the years David has never stopped traveling the world, sharing and passing on his experiences to his son and daughter, who now lead the company together with the wife, and ensuring that Cerester has continuity in its objectives and mission, always guaranteeing respect for tradition but with an eye constantly turned towards the challenges of the future.

The production structure

Before founding, Cerester David traveled extensively, taking part in various harvests in Australia and New Zealand. Initially the business was mainly focused on the export of bulk wine, but subsequently Cerester gradually embarked on a path towards the modernization of the entire production structure, converting production to bottled wine.

Challenges towards the future

From its foundation until today, Cerester has tried to fit tradition with change, continually seeking new horizons: new wines, new packaging and new tools. Over time, the wines offered have become mostly organic and the machinery introduced has become increasingly innovative, both in the laboratory and in production, to achieve maximum efficiency but always with a careful eye on sustainability.
